My name is Sara Pittenger, owner of PlayHouse Chins & Rabbitry. I am a small-scale chinchilla and rabbit breeder focusing on maintaining high quality bloodlines, excellent temperament, and gorgeous high quality coats of English Angoras, Mini Rex, Rex, and Holland Lop rabbits, and chinchillas. I strive to continually improve my herd. I am a proud member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and the Chinchilla Breeders Organization.

I grew up around all types of animals and decided to go into breeding chinchillas and rabbits because of my love for animals. To ensure I use good animals for breeding, I obtain all of my rabbits and chinchillas when they are very young; this is so I know they are well taken care of, easily handled, and relaxed around people. I breed for show quality and pet quality rabbits and chinchillas. I will NOT sell them for their meat or their coats! I strongly believe in the life preservation of these sweet animals. At Playhouse Chins and Rabbitry you will find gorgeous, friendly little animals that will forever capture your heart. Upon purchase of one of my animals I will give a sample of food and a grooming lesson, as well as answer any questions you might have about the new addition to your family. I believe that as a breeder and animal lover, my work is not finished when I sell the animal. I will always be available for any help the buyer may need and will gladly give as much information as I can to help them.

For people who purchase an animal from me: I will not ship. I have done research and have found that it can be very unkind to the animal. Also, if for whatever reason you can no longer care for your rabbit or chinchilla, I will gladly take it back. All rabbits and chinchillas that I breed are purebred and pedigreed.
